The intelligent nerve centre.
A ruggedised ARM-based industrial edge computer that collects data from field devices, processes it locally, converts protocols, and streams insights to the cloud — all without touching a line of PLC code.
Every interface. One box.
The Lynk Edge is built around a rich I/O hardware platform that covers every connectivity requirement found in industrial, building, and field automation environments.
4G Cellular
LTE Cat-4 / Cat-M1
Remote cellular uplink for sites without LAN infrastructure — streams live data to cloud platforms directly over 4G without on-premise network dependency.
Ethernet LAN / WAN
Dual-Port Ethernet
Two independent Ethernet ports with LAN and WAN separation — simultaneously connects to the local field network and an external WAN or corporate network.
RS485 · BACnet / Modbus
Multi-Drop Serial Bus
Multi-drop RS485 serial bus supporting BACnet MS/TP and Modbus RTU — connects directly to PLCs, drives, meters, sensors, and any RS485 field instrument.
CAN 2.0
CAN Bus Interface
CAN 2.0 bus interface for automotive and industrial field devices — enables integration with vehicle telemetry, generator sets, and CAN-native instruments.
Simple coding with Node-RED
A browser-based visual flow editor built on the battle-tested Node-RED platform — wire together hardware inputs, business logic, and cloud outputs using drag-and-drop with zero boilerplate code.
Drag-and-Drop Flow Programming
Visual wiring of inputs, processing logic, and outputs — no command line required. Flows are deployed live from a browser running anywhere on the network.
Low-Code Logic
Function nodes allow JavaScript where precise custom logic is needed — most industrial flows require none. Condition blocks, rate limiters, and state machines are built from standard nodes.
Deploy in Hours, Iterate Instantly
New flows deploy in seconds without device downtime. Logic updates, threshold changes, and new data destinations can be pushed live without halting operations or re-flashing firmware.
Deployed across demanding environments
The Lynk Edge is the integration and intelligence layer for applications where local processing, protocol bridging, and reliable cloud connectivity all need to coexist in a single ruggedised device.
Manufacturing
OEE dashboards, production counter monitoring, machine health via Modbus RTU, and SCADA integration without replacing existing PLC infrastructure.
Power & Energy
Generator telemetry via CAN 2.0, energy meter pulse counting via DI, and real-time publishing to energy management platforms via MQTT over 4G.
Infrastructure & Utilities
Pump stations, substations, and water treatment plants — remote monitoring without LAN infrastructure using 4G cellular uplink and cloud MQTT publishing.
Smart Buildings
BACnet and Modbus integration with BMS systems, HVAC equipment, and energy sub-meters — all aggregated, processed, and forwarded to cloud analytics platforms.
How teams deploy the Lynk Edge
Real deployment scenarios — from remote generator monitoring to multi-protocol factory integration — illustrating how the Lynk Edge solves challenges at the intersection of OT and IT.
We monitor 24 standby generators across six sites from a single Grafana dashboard. Each Lynk Edge reads engine hours, fuel level, and fault codes over CAN 2.0 and publishes to InfluxDB via MQTT over 4G. Setup took two days per site.
Critical Power Infrastructure Provider
Telemetry & Remote Monitoring Engineer
We had three different PLC brands on the same production floor — each speaking a different protocol. One Lynk Edge reads all three over Modbus RTU, translates the data, and pushes unified OEE metrics to our Azure IoT Hub. No middleware server required.
Mixed-Automation Production Facility
Industry 4.0 Integration Lead
Eleven pump stations, no LAN at any of them. The Lynk Edge reads flow meters and level sensors via analogue inputs, applies our alarm logic locally, triggers relay outputs for the on-site pump panels, and streams everything to our SCADA over 4G. It replaced an entire RTU cabinet.
